Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

I just thought I'd make it official and announce to my friends and stalkers that I've gone on hiatus from making trash indefinitely.

The reason behind this is probably something that has plagued other wannabe artists such as myself. For the past couple of months I have lost all motivation to draw. Whenever I open up a canvas, I can't find it myself anymore to stroke a line much less draw a picture. I tried to find inspiration but I failed to see what it was that drove me to manipulate pixels and come up with something that represented my imagination. I think it is my inability to improve on my craft or something that is bringing me down.

I doubt if/when I'll be coming out of hiatus but I'll still be here for you my friends and stalkers, as well as for those people that I myself am stalking.

I would like to apologize to my friend ~DDdreamer for not being able to complete his request. I'm terribly sorry dude.

hey there again. I understand what it is to lose inspiration, or feel lazy or feel like not drawing at all, since it hapened to me lots of times xD. But I would say that, you'll want to draw eventually, just dont think about the start of a picture, think how it will end, that could make you wanna achieve that end result.

And what do you say if we do an art trade you and me ^^. Perhaps you could be draw me a kanako picture, in her official outfit, and I'll make you a patchouli, since I never drew her. If you are interested tell me and hopefully this will bring back your spark. Don't also forget that you use paint really well, heck you draw really well, not many people can do that! ^^
